Download the white paper to find out how you could achieve high enantioselectivity in challenging asymmetric transformations
The chiral bisphosphine ligand BINAP (2,2’-diphenylphosphino-1,1’-binaphthyl), is now regarded as one of the most efficient chiral ligands for various transition metal-catalyzed asymmetric reactions.
The challenge for catalysis/process chemistry teams arises when BINAP does not offer an adequate solution to a problem, meaning R&D scientists have to work closely with project managers, procurement and patent attorneys to identify another, often more advanced (and therefore less readily available) catalyst.
In this white paper, we discuss the challenges of asymmetric catalysis and how H8-BINAP is emerging as a commercially viable option for asymmetric transformations.
