Gerard Compagnoni

 

Gerard Compagnoni has been appointed as Business Development Advisor for North America and Europe for Sinocompound.  In addition to overseeing the company’s expansion in these regions, Gerard will be responsible for new product introduction and developing and executing marketing strategy.

Before joining Sinocompound, Gerard was a consultant to technology companies looking to enter the pharmaceutical and specialty chemical industries. His services included the development and execution of commercial strategies, introducing existing and new technologies, optimizing sales activities, and delivering revenue growth.

Prior to this, Gerard spent 35 years at Johnson Matthey in various commercial and leadership roles, finishing as General Manager of their global Life Science Technologies business.  While in the GM role, in addition to being instrumental in growing revenues 60% over five years, he significantly expanded operations in India and China, and directed a research and development organization which is recognized as a global catalyst technology leader in the pharmaceutical and fine chemical industry.

Gerard holds a bachelor’s degree in management and marketing from Rowan University and has completed professional development programs at London Business School for Senior Leadership, and the University of Michigan for Executive Marketing.
