Augustine Ochen, Business Development Manager for Europe at Sinocompound

Augustine Ochen has been appointed as Business Development Manager for Europe for Sinocompound. In addition to building and supporting new customer opportunities, Augustine will leverage his experience to capture customer feedback and insights to help advance our market-driven technical initiatives.

“I am excited to be joining Sinocompound, an innovative company with advanced technologies. My role will involve supporting customers to help them access these technologies, in order to help them advance their products to market more quickly. Hopefully, this will make a significant impact on the lives of people”.

 Before joining Sinocompound, Augustine worked for GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals where he was a Senior Scientist in their chemical development group. Prior to that, he worked as a process development chemist for AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. In total, Augustine has 22 years of synthetic organic chemistry experience in process development, scale-up and technical transfer of APIs to manufacturing.

 Augustine holds a Medicinal Chemistry degree from University College London and is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC).
